Tagline of Anodos is the Path to Growth, enabling enterprises and professionals to grow. This focus on growth is anchored in the name. Anodos is derived from the old Greek word ανοδος meaning the path upwards.
In Greek mythology the rising of a god from the ground or the sea towards heaven.

Growing is achieved by bridging the gap between business strategy and IT solutions with solid program and project management (in fact change and transition management), a sound definition of tasks and responsibilities ('goed opdrachtgeverschap', requirements management) and using new technology to enable businesses to grow.

We specialize on bringing programs and projects back on track and facilitate flow again in an organization. This especially in transitions to a digital organization, with Agile and DevOps ways of working to achieve Business Agility. We do this via Interim management, Program management and Project management.

About Anodos

Anodos was established in 2006 by Bert Bouwmeester to facilitate enterprises and people to grow. Since it's inception it played a major role in a number of key programs and projects in the Netherlands. Below is a list of testimonials.

Responsible for day-to-day operations in the IT department of Asset Management with 250+ FTE (complete software development cycle). During this period, a new way of working with Agile/DevOps was introduced (including all interaction with the Works Council). Also contributed to the COO strategy for 2025.

Responsible for business development and management of the Benelux practices of Expleo group (in total about 100 FTE).
Responsible for setting-up and running a new business unit for solutions, based on Business Agility.

In this period also responsible for customer programs:
- Programme manager ITC2020 / De Volksbank
- Advisor Agile Transformation / NS
- Coach Agile Transformation / BNP Paribas Fortis

Responsible for the setup of a programme for a new IT-infrastructure to support the PGB process (Persoonsgebonden Budget). Internal development with DevOps, SCRUM and Agile

As line manager Logistics (130 FTE) end responsible for day to day operations in including planning, execution, delivery, monitoring, improvement, results, contacts with clients and suppliers and all contracts with an annual value above €100M.
During this period, despite of a crisis situation, an ISAE 3402 type 1 statement ws issued and the financial forecast 2015 was realised.
Part of the management team
As crisis manager responsible for handling a crisis situation and to return to Business As Usual in time for the holiday season 2015. The crisis was averted in January 2016.

Bert Bouwmeester

My passion is the successful coordination and execution of changes in complex and political sensitive environments. I take my responsibility to ensure sustainable growth of organisations, processes and people. I never walk away from difficult decisions and will always strive for simplification to a minimal viable solution.

My added value shows best by bringing together business and IT, especially in mission critical and/or time critical business changes. Basis is my education in IT (graduated in Computer technology combined with business education), accompanied by yearlong experience in business and IT management in several branches and in several roles. This unique combination gives me the tools and skills to quickly transform strategic business vision and goals into successful changes like programmes, portfolios and projects, as principal/executive manager or change manager.

My personal motto's are “I don’t like to lose”, “Getting the job done” and “Say I can't and I'll prove you wrong”.
